Tristar InnovationÂ
I attended Tennessee Technological University in Cookevile, TN, where I was a kicker for the football team. Although I received my bachelors degree in Cellular Molecular Biology, I found a passion in design and working with my hands.
All throughout college, I worked every break with my brother-in-law and began learning how to renovate homes. I still remember the very first job we ever completed together -- it was a new construction build with bare OSB subfloors where we tiled the entire first level of the home. I remember having such a feeling of accomplishment.
My passion grew immensely once we did the first job with a homeowner. We ripped out a leaky and moldy shower and replaced it with a beautiful and clean new tile shower. The look of excitement and joy on that homeowner's face when we were done is something I'll never forget and always continue to strive for. I realized then that not only could you visually improve the look of a space, but you could make it healthier for the people that used it, too.
It's now over a decade later, and I still find so much enjoyment from fully transforming spaces for homeowners. I'm truly so grateful to do the work that I do.
